Fastighetsbyrån is the biggest real estate agency in Sweden. The new-built office by a small marina in Hammarby Sjöstad district needed an interior design project reflecting the agency’s character and graphic profile.
The ordiginal space, purchased by the property under construction, had a distinct industrial character, typical of the neighborhood, with raw concrete walls and steel beams and columns which we drew on for the conceptual design.

Hard surfaces meet soft materials. Smooth concrete contrasts with sound-absorbing elements in raw wool of Icelandic design; hard steel contrasts with sheer bronze coloured curtains. Black and white are assembled with warm colours like orange and gold ochre; a colour scheme which is inspired from the brand identity of the company. The ceiling of the meeting room, the most representative space, is decorated with a personalized wallpaper, which shows the map of the city of Stockholm.
